A True Author's End

What you witness today is a tale as old as time.  An ambitious prince has taken hold of the Kyrogadian throne, and seeks to subjugate the land under his own rule. Kingdom after kingdom fall to his might, but no land has suffered the blight of his power more than the Yshtolan Kingdom. Their lands gone, their king has instead devoted his time for one last stand to allow his children to escape, and one day lead the assault in the future. All hope for the future rests on the Crown Princess Yevon to one day end the new emperor's tyranny!

...Or is that how the story usually goes?

As the king does battle against the emperor, the princess lies in wait for her allies to escape the area. Our band of six, gathered by the will of an enigmatic Author, cannot allow such a thing to pass. Before the night is to pass, the princess' head must roll for that is the Author's will.
